Open Gym Concept in the Parks - A Healthy Option

in health •  3 years ago

When we think of a Gym, what comes to our mind is those well set up airconditioned rooms with sophisticated equipment's.
Well in my city we have it a little different way. We do have those sophisticated Gyms, Gold Gym is one of the most popular one here, but other than that we also have a open Gym concept in the parks and at the Beach, and I love this idea for whoever has invented it.

It is not something very innovative, I see that this concept is there in many places. The first time I had seen it was in Iran and that time I felt quite amused, but now I see it in many places, so guess it is common. I think that this is a very healthy concept. While you do your exercise you also enjoy the nature and the natural environment, it will add up to building your mood.

Honestly I am not a gym person at all. I have gone to a Gym for 2 months some years back and somehow I could not fit in. Except for the thread mill and the cycle, I do not know how to use other equipment's and I don't find them very comfortable. In my building we have one, which we can use for free, I go there sometimes to use the treadmill, but I enjoy my walks and Yoga more, though it's not bad for a change. After all what matters is the physical activity for the body in a way that's most comfortable for you.

The equipment's we have in the parks here are quite sophisticated I see. The difference is that they are all manual

This can be used for leg exercise, like the treadmill, and on the sides there is also that you can sit and do something, I am not sure exactly how that part is used.

This one needs to be used sitting, may be something to do with the arms part and I think there is a push for the legs also.

This is the one I normally use at the park. Cycling

And this one too I use, the walker

For this equipment you need 2 people to be well coordinated, else it would be difficult to manage.

All of these are free to use, but sadly I see very few people making use of it. I guess people prefer more to spend and use the lavish gyms then going in for these simpler ones. These are good for people who cannot afford to pay high gym charges or nature lovers.

And then you also have a beautiful surrounding to spark up your energy.
