New Scale

Hi Friends,

I picked up a new personal scale for our house recently so I wanted to share about it.

This is a smart scale and shows you many health statistics beyond your weight, which is done through being barefoot on the scale where it reads through your feet. I was particularly interested in my hydration levels (which were good) and my muscle rate, both of which came in standard:

My protein rate and protein mass came in high, which is good - must be due to all the eggs and meat I eat! My metabolic age came in good too, as if I was a 32 year old (I am older than that!). One area that I was not good in was Subcutaneous Fat, which was still normal, but almost in the "high" category, and measures the fat located between the outer layer of your skin and connective tissue... too much beer and ice cream?!?

Interesting stuff and it will be cool to make sure the trends are still going good over time.. The model we picked up was named BMI Smart Scale - FitTrack which has an app that connects the scale to your phone via bluetooth. I think it was around $100.
