Plants from our yard

The quarantine has brought good things to my home, apart from the valuable time shared with my family we have developed useful skills for a better life at home, for example I learned how to prepare bread, now we eat freshly baked bread every day, which is delicious. As part of our routine, I knead the wheat flour and after my husband rests, he makes the breads and bakes them. It is very satisfying to see how we all taste them.

We have also planted in our garden different plants to prepare infusions and edible vegetables such as chives, sweet peppers, auyama, and milky. In the image I placed at the beginning you can see the auyama, milky plants and in the background one of chives. Our patio is made of cement, but we plant in plastic containers and we also have some clay ones. My husband is the one who has dedicated himself to the care of our plants. Every day, he waters them at least twice so that they can grow, and he also takes away the bush so that it doesn't bother them.

Additionally we have had the opportunity to educate our children at home, now we are their teachers at home, which in addition to generating the pleasure of having them with us, gives us the peace of mind that they are not exposed to this pandemic. In these circumstances, it is best to stay home. There are many happy moments that we have lived since the family union: games, conversations, readings, movies... so many things for which sometimes "we don't have time" today we can enjoy them.

My daughter is always with me with a smile

And yes, many plans and situations were suspended because of this virus, however, doors and windows are open for many other opportunities, there are many people who have managed to grow even under this scenario and that should be the attitude, to move forward and do the best you can. In our home we have been studying, seeking to be better prepared for when all this ends, because it will certainly end and we must be better than when it began, we cannot be in the same place, time is golden, it continues to pass and we must not lose it.

Those bread rolls look amazing! The smell of fresh bread is so nice.
Auyama, and milky, haven't heard of them before do you cook with them, eat them raw, what is the preparation of them?

Hello!

We love to eat our freshly baked bread every day, I'm so glad I learned how to do it.
Right, sometimes translations don't work for certain things, sorry. The word milky, which is really lechosa in our country, is a fruit, I think in other places they call it papaya and with them we make smoothies and merengades. Auyama is the same as pumpkin, and we eat it mostly in soups and desserts.
I hope that I have cleared up your doubt, which is very well founded.
Happy day
