Thinking of starting 100 Days Posting Challenge!

Give 2020 a Happy Ending!

100 Days Posting Challenge!.png

I hope you all are doing well and I guess Blurt is running well now. I wanted to share this idea a few days back but Blurt was facing issues so I had to wait till @ericet and the dev team did their magic.

2020 was a tough year for all of us. Many of us have lost jobs, lost money in business and many of our loved ones died due to the virus.

And now 2020 is about to end in 105 days and I do not see anything good happening.

So, I was thinking of giving 2020 a Happy Ending by hosting a contest, a competition where members of Blurt write 100 posts, make 1000 comments, and earn at least 10,000 Blurt in the next 100 days.

How are we going to do this?

We can start this competition on 21th of September and members who want to participate can send 1 Blurt as entry fees and then start posting using the hashtag #HappyEnding2020 or just HappyEnding.

We can create a team that will monitor everything and by the end of 2020 on 31st December or 1st of Jan 2020, we can announce the winners.

Are you interested in volunteering and helping me host this challenge?

The winners will be those who follow the rules and write 100 posts and make 1000 comments without spamming.

Prize money:

The prize money can be as small as 10,000 Blurt delegation for the next 100 days.

The first prize can be 10K, then 5K, and so on.

Blurt Contests can curate the posts which use the #HappyEnding tag on their posts.

By the end of 2020, each person who has honestly participated will have their posts curated by
the respected community curators and they will have enough to celebrate.

What do you say? We still have a few days to prepare and set the rules.

I am thinking of starting the contest on the 21st of September but I need the support of Community Curators and whales to run this challenge.

Share your ideas and let us take Blurt to another level!

Are you up for HappyEnding2020?

Hi, I think that is a good idea, but IMO we have to do some changes:
I, as blurtcontests, can upvote all the posts, and I suggest that can be upvoted, depending on the topic, by one other curator.
I totally disagree with the comments part, I suggest to upvote only posts.
The prize must be in Blurt, not just a delegation, IMO.
The rank can be defined by the number of posts and a special prize for who posts the all 100 post.

Thank you for your ideas.

I I agree that posts must be voted by the respective topics but also one small vote from @Blurtcontests would be great.

I also agree that we do not need to vote comments. But it would be great to see some conversations here so I thought of making it 1000 comments.

About the prize money I think we need to discuss about it. I was thinking that a delegation would be good enough. Where do we get the liquid Blurt from? I had asked @megadrive for delegation and he happily agreed for that.

Yes, I ranks can be defined by number of posts.

I like your ideas and I am so happy to see such positive feedback from you. We can discuss further and then decide.

Thank you so much.

I thought this was a great idea. But you can't work alone because someone has to help. Blurtter is much more developed if the token price also has value. There's no way we can spend time here without getting something to spend on it.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts @dsatria.

You are correct I cannot work alone and I need you guys to help me with this.

Will you help me?

I think this would be a positive way to end the year! I'm happy to lend a hand, let's talk more..

Excellent initiative! I think it's an interesting proposal, it would be good to rethink the rules, for example I am Latino and I would like to participate by publishing from my native language which is Spanish. It would be cool to participate in this challenge so here you have a participant enlisted.

The reward system should be liquid, this so that those of us who participate feel more motivated and we can even attract more participants to this challenge during these last days of this year 2020.

I would like to be part of the team on the Hispanic side! So I'm signing up to see if you'd like to involve me in your team! Nothing else to add!

I say goodbye.

I am Mars!

You can participate in your native language.

But we can't change the rewards to liquid.

It would be awesome if you can bring in more Spanish people to this challenge.
