Hey Blurt Sunshines

Welcome to day 5 every day, each day I've been trying to balance my routine back to normal, one of those things is stretching I've been stretching as my exercise routine on and off for the last 4 - 5 years.

Stretching is a great light way to combine exercise and sports together while boosting your immune system it doesn't take too much out of your day, nor too much effort but it does give you a bit of a sweat.

I do two different types of stretches after testing and trialing many different types like yoga, Pilates, workout videos they were either a bit too long, a bit too much I was looking for something that was around 25 minutes or less to be my top work out amount.

As with people with sickness or disease, this is the time limit they can cope with, I tested this theory quite a few times to find that if I did over I was tired during the day, wanting to have an afternoon nap, below 25 minutes I feel energized wanting to come back the next day to do more stretches. It's finding your limit and balance which works for you and your body.

The Health benefits of stretching boosts your immune system, energy, keeps you moving, if you put it together with a great balance diet you may also shed some weight, I lost around 40kgs not bad for only stretches and a diet change.
It also helps with stretching your muscles which can cause an intense amount of pain if you have tightened muscles, which can be maintained by stretching, released by either massage or dry needling.

This is one of the stretching exercises I do, which I split up, one set at the start of the exercise and the other at the end of the main set.
