Welcome to day 3 of the 100 days posting - Happy ending challenge, Three down 97 more to go, let's bring it on!
When I first saw this contests I was taken back a bit because 100 days is a lot to commit or is it really when you marry you are committing death till you part, so the rest of your living life to someone else that is a massive commitment along the way there are little milestones to hit to make you excited, something to look forward to, every years anniversary, joint finances (which may not be exciting if someone is a great over spender), starting a family and all the milestones which it creates, making a home, life together. If you think about all of these together it can be overwhelming, slowly backing away then bolting for it...
If you take small steps and hit those milestones together than letting the whole picture overwhelm you, it can be done in bitesize pieces.
If you think about it, our ancestors if they were like why should I do this now, like plant a seed to a tree I won't see it, so why should I, they thought if I do this now someone else can benefit in the future.
What we do now, may benefit someone else in the future, so no matter how hard it may be doing little steps, milestones to break it done to achieve will encourage you to keep going.
Yesterday I hit a milestone on blurt which I thought I wouldn't make it, but I keep posting, keep slowly doing it, this morning I saw when I upvoted I can now contribute .04 blurt when I upvote. Yay, I can contribute!
If you keep going doing small steps they all add up you will start seeing results.
With this challenge it has made me think about other parts of my life, like my routine, health, instead of looking at the obstacles, being a bit lazy as the whole picture can be scary, putting it all into bitesize pieces, I can do little improvements in my daily life with this challenge also.
Like this morning I know I'm meant to drink tea every day to give better support to my immune system, which I've been a bit lazy doing, I had a peppermint tea, loose leaves as the bags may be bleached.
Starting back to doing a full 18 - 20-minute exercise routine than 3-10 minutes, I've been slacking.
Taking each day as it comes, keeping busy with small milestones that are achievable to achieve bigger goals.
