Bismillahir Rohmanir Rohim.
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu.

Dear friends, I hope you are all well. I am very well and healthy with your prayers and the mercy of Allah.

There are some animals in this world that are absolutely forbidden to be hurt. For example, ants, cats, pigeons, and frogs are four animals.

We usually see many dogs and cats walking around our homes and on the streets. Someone may have broken or amputated the legs of these animals. If the ant infestation is excessive, we kill the ants with medicine or kill them with fire and ashes.

In fact, our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has absolutely forbidden to hurt the four animals mentioned above. These animals should not be harmed in any way.

A woman from Bani Israel gave water to a thirsty dog, and Allah forgave her sins. We also know that a woman tied a cat to death and the cat died, and Allah punished her for this death.

The reason why the ant is given such dignity is that the ant calls for the welfare of its own kind. And this is why Allah Almighty has increased the dignity of the ant so much. Allah Almighty has named a Surah of the Quran after the ant.

We should also learn from this ant. We never wish for the welfare of our own kind. We only want to suppress each other. We never want the welfare of others. We only want to understand our own welfare, never want to understand the welfare of others.

Then let's talk about the frog. It is forbidden to hurt the frog. The reason is that the then tyrant king Nimrod, Hazrat Shaibrahim (AS) was thrown into the fire because he accepted one Allah. And the frog tried to extinguish the fire, that is, the frog urinated in the fire so that the fire would be extinguished. Allah Almighty liked this act of the frog very much. That is why it is forbidden to hurt the frog.

Then it is forbidden to hurt another animal, which is the pigeon. These pigeons were used to send important news in many cases. For example, after the flood during the time of Noah (AS), this pigeon was sent to test the water. Also, during the time of Hazrat Ali (RA), the news of his danger was sent through a pigeon. That is why it is forbidden to hurt this animal.

Then it is forbidden to hurt the cat. Cats do us many benefits, which we do not understand with a normal eye. Cats stay in the house at night and absorb all the germs that are in the house. They protect us from various dangerous diseases.

Finally, a heartfelt appeal to everyone: We will never hurt these four animals, nor will we try to hurt them. I am ending here today, may Allah preserve us.
