Taoist Soap Review

Natural botanical soap made of daoist herbs that help support hair growth, thickening, and stopping further hair loss according to the manufacturer’s guidelines.

Update: My brother, who is 37, also helped me with this, and his results are similar to mine. The soap and another product mentioned in the chart helped him with preventing further hair loss and regrowing thicker hair.

Duration used: 6 months.

Results: Stopped hair falling by month 1 on pillow and shower. Saw new growth by month 3. Month 4, 5, and 6, I saw my hair completely recover from the loss I went through. This worked better than Procapil and Minoxidil use.

Taoist soap and Immortal’s oil worked better than Procapil and Minoxidil for hair growth.

Immortal’s Oil

This one was tricky because there are so many websites selling a copy, or just copying the name and not selling the actual Immortal’s Oil — the real one is only sold at the manufacturer’s website: ImmortalsOil.com — so please only look there if you are interested in reading more about it.

Duration used was 6 months as per instructions on their website.

Results: I found that this helped more with speed and thickness of hair growth when I combined it with the Taoist soap. I used this only once a week, and the Taoist soap 2x a week, and this gave even better results. But when using alone for 6 months, I found that this increased hair growth by 20%, and my hair looked much better in quality, shine, and thickness by month 4. I would rate this as the second-best, and an easy-to-use topical formula-based oil that ACTUALLY works for hair growth and thickness — suitable even if you have genetic hair thinning, or hormonal hair thinning in men or women.

Procapil’s Review

Procapil is kind of the new kid on the block for growing hair, known for its natural vibe. It’s made up of a mix that includes a special kind of vitamin formula, apigenin (a compound found in plants), and oleanolic acid. It’s supposed to boost your hair roots and cut down on losing hair, which sounded pretty cool to me. So, I gave Procapil a try for a few months, found it super easy to use, and didn’t really notice any bad side effects.

Duration used was 6 months as per instructions on the packaging and manufacturer’s guidelines.

Results: No hair growth or speed of hair growth results were seen, but hair texture did improve from using this by month 3 to 4.

Minoxidil Review

Minoxidil was a heart drug before they started using it for hair topical and oral uses. It basically expands the vessels to increase hair growth. This is a pharmaceutical drug and not suitable for everyone, and has many negative side effects, which do happen to many people, but most people do not report it.

Duration used: 6 months.

Results: I experienced some results in the very first month; after that, I experienced even more hair loss constantly for the remaining 5 months to the point I was very scared and had to stop using it. I do not recommend taking Minoxidil unless it is your last resort and you have tried every other method.

Conclusion

Hair growth is a complicated matter in men and women. Especially if it is severe and you lose a lot of hair every day, you need to target it not just by using products for hair growth, but also look at your daily patterns in what you do that can affect your hair growth.

I think I should do a review on trying multiple methods at the same time and see if they perform better, but I need more people in my team to do a further review.

All in all, I think you should always patch test any products before you apply them properly on your skin, even if they are natural, as you don’t want any adverse reactions to cosmetics.
