Hafez Nazmus Shakib of Bangladesh has become the first to surpass everyone in the grand international Hifzul Quran competition held at Haram Sharif in Mecca.
Competitors from 60 countries around the world took part in the competition. Hafez Nazmus Shakib received 70,000 Saudi riyals and a special honorary medal and a certificate from Imam Abdur Rahman As-Sudais of Kaaba Sharif as the champion of the competition. Not only in this one competition, Hafeez Shakib has won various prizes in national and several other international Quran competitions.
Shakib was born in 2001 in Itail village of Fulbaria police station in Mymensingh district. At just 16 years old, Shakib is now an international personality. He was able to memorize 30 verses of Holy Quran in just 2 years. At present Shakib is studying in Tahfizul Quran As-Sunnah Madrasa.
Hafez Shakib, the pride of Bangladesh, has previously won various prizes in national and several other international Quran competitions. Hafez Nazmus Shakib, a Bangladeshi, has been added to the list of the world's best Hafez Quran. Through him, the glorious name of Bangladesh was once again enlightened in the heart of the world. This talented Hafez won the first place among the Hafez Qurans from all over the country in the PHP Quran Light Competition aired on the country's private television channel NTV.
