The PGA tour hosts the US Open at Winged Foot Golf Club in Mamaroneck, New York, one of the biggest events of the year.
Given this is a major, the world's elite golfers will be in the field and the course is expected to play very tough with high rough and fast greens. There has been talk that the USGA is making the course a little easier than they normally would for a US Open, but I am not sure about that rumor. The favorite to win is Dustin Johnson, who just won the FedEx Cup as well, at 17-2 odds. John Rahm is the second favorite at 10-1 odds, but don't count out greats like Justin Thomas or Rory McIlroy. Tiger and Phil will be in the field as well, with Tiger being more favored to win at 40-1 odds.
