Génesis 7:11–24; 8; 9:8–17. Llueve durante cuarenta días y cuarenta noches (7:11–12). Muere toda persona y todo ser viviente que no está dentro del arca y las aguas cubren la tierra durante ciento cincuenta días (7:13–24). Cuando las aguas disminuyen, Noé, su familia y los animales salen del arca (8:1–19), y Noé ofrece sacrificio al Señor (8:20–22). Genesis 7:11–24; 8; 9:8–17. It rains for forty days and forty nights (7:11–12). Every person and every living thing not inside the ark dies, and the waters cover the earth for 150 days (7:13–24). When the waters recede, Noah, his family, and the animals leave the ark (8:1–19), and Noah offers sacrifice to the Lord (8:20–22). The Lord establishes His covenant with Noah and places the rainbow on the earth as a sign of that covenant

Por la fe Noé, cuando fue advertido por Dios acerca de cosas que aún no se veían, con temor preparó el arca en que su casa se salvase; y por esa fe condenó al mundo, y fue hecho heredero de la justicia que viene por la fe. (Hebreos 11:7)

By faith Noah, when he was warned by God about things not yet seen, fearfully prepared the ark in which his house might be saved; and by that faith he condemned the world, and was made heir of the righteousness that comes through faith. (Hebrews 11:7)
