The SEC has repeatedly rejected Bitcoin EFT over the last 10 years. The reasons for their refusal were that the crypto was open to speculation and could be used in fraud. Although there are impressions that it will be accepted this year, we can see that the reasons for previous rejections have not yet been overcome. Bitcoin is still speculable by whales and some organizations and is difficult to trace in fraud.
Since these reasons have not been overcome, I think the SEC will again refuse ETF approval, but I believe that this will not negatively affect the markets. We can easily see this when we look at the past periods.
Nevertheless, this is not an investment recommendation. It is my personal opinion on ETF approval.
