A beautiful gift

in gift •  6 months ago

With my new home coming up, my friends have been asking me what gifts I will like for the home. They would want to give me something that will be useful for me rather then buying anything. In our Indian traditions we do these house warming gifts. One thing I always request my friends is to not give me any God idols, because many people think that it is auspicious and yes it is, but then so many God idols in my house, what will I do and where will I keep them. Then I have to be mindful about the cleaning and all and to maintain the sanctity, which sometimes becomes difficult for me, specially with my frequent travelling.

When my friend asked me what I would like as a gift, first I asked him his budget, because I would not want to put anything across to him which can leave him in a awkward situation. When he told me his budget I shared with him my thought of the gift and he was quite happy, because it's quite a unique thing. I wanted a Sun frame to put at the entrance of my home. I had already seen this frame at one of the stores. It's a very pretty one made of brass.

It's a good Vaastu symbol to be placed at the entrance of the house, and I want my home to get all the possible good vibes and blessings of the nature.

I am so happy with this one, it finally belongs to me.
