A Special Gift

It is always delightful to receive gifts, big or small it just makes me feel so special when someone gifts me anything. It means that the person is fond of me and thinking of me. Also when someone gifts you something with which you feel connected with then it becomes all the more special.

So, this family friend of our's gifted us this beautiful piece of Buddha art for our new home. The Buddha face is carved up in a piece of wood and I so love the way of how the blessing hands are made in the wood piece. The face of the Buddha also radiates lot of peace and calmness. It gives a very pleasant feeling looking at it.

I have placed this piece of art right in front of the steps of the first floor. As anyone climbs up this is the first view on the wall giving good vibes.
