Odd looking red balls we call rambutan here in the Philippines. They taste sweet when pick at the right time and will turn bland as they stay longer. Summer is best for them as the rainy days will tend to overwater them leaving them tasting less sweet

We have two trees we grow from seedlings that were given to us as gifts.

We already had forgotten about these trees until they grew taller and had bore fruit. They say they should be in pairs for pollination purposes

Only one tree bears fruit. I have no idea why the other tree will bear flowers but will shed them all off as soon as the other tree will mature into fruit. I wonder what purpose could it be?

Until next time.
