fixing ypur farming tool

in gardening •  8 months ago

Do you like working in the garden or farm land? You must need farming tools like hoes, sickles, knives and other traditional tools. One of the disgusting moment is when your tool is loosen. The metal part is separated with the wooden or plastic part as the handles. It often happens because most metal parts are only injected in the wooden or plastic handles.

This time I would like to share experience how to fasten your metal parts with the wooden or plastic handles easily.

Here , I practiced with a small hoe, it was called “Pancong “ in my region. Pancong is used to clean up weeds or grasses in the main area of farming.

First, I made a hole in a wood as the new handle. I made sure that the hole would be strong enough to grib the metal part.

Then, I prepare a candle, a used plastic, and the metal part. I burn tthe plastic on the tip of the metal that would be injected into the wooden handle.

After that, let the plastic burn and melt. When the plastic was melting, I injected the tip of the metal in the hole of the handle. I made sure that the grib was strong enough.

Finally, I let the melting plastic get cold. The result was amazing. The metal part sticked strongly.

That is a simple technique that you can practice to all tools you have. The cold melting plastic will grib the metal strongly because it becomes a hard material.

Here is my small hoe. Now, I can use it to clean up weeds and grasses near my house. I also do this technique to another farming tool that I have. Thanks for watching and I hope this simple technique will help you in the gardens and the farm lands.
