Flowering plants

in gardening •  2 years ago

Last year when I first started my nursery business I bought a ton of these tiny flowering plants. I was a total novice in flowering plants and I didn't know much about them.

Until 2022 January I had a lot of experience in growing fruit trees, shade trees and even helped build a small man made forest by following the Miyawaki method.

It was a great experience building a tiny half acres forest and planting fruit trees and watching them grow. These big trees are hardy and it doesn't matter if you forget to water them for a few days or if you water them more than needed. They kind of live and grew without much supervision.

But not all plants are like that. There are many that are like completely dependent upon us for everything.

But these tiny flowering plants needed care. They needed shade, they need constant care, they need the right amount of water and oh my god they need so much attention to detail.

I can't water them too much I can't give them less water and I can't ignore them. They were the prettiest flowers I have ever seen but they exhausted me and I ended up destroying a few hundred of these tiny ones.

Now a year later I know a lot more and now I don't destroy them. They do well in my care and I always look forward to buying more of these soon.
