Big Bonsai tree

in gardening •  2 years ago

I love Bonsai trees but I have never owned in nor sold one. I have tried to make Bonsai trees out of a neem tree that I had but I couldn't keep up with the maintenance and eventually the plant died.

I know how to make one but it is a process that takes time to master. A long time ago when my elder sister was a student she had a teacher who taught various arts and one of them was the skill of making a bonsai tree. I remember my sister explaining what a bonsai was and how they make it. Eventually I learnt more from online sources and I thought damn it's easy.

I have seen videos of Japanese Bonsai trees and they are awesome. The oldest one is like at least 400-500 years old I think. It is a great legacy to leave behind and an asset that can be of value in future.

Last year I started the process of making a Jade bonsai tree but never finished it.
