It's winter in the Laughing Dragon Garden.
Although we don't have truly harsh winters here, we occasionally get cold snaps and quite a bit of snow.
That can happen until mid-March or so, so planting doesn't really "safely" start until early April.
These shots were taken during one of our really cold periods, right before Christmas.
The prayer flags offer a bit of bright contrast to the otherwise cold landscape.

A single apple has somehow survived the winter and is still hanging in there.
