Back in Devon to help out with a bit of gardening, although before the hard work starts been enjoying the garden and the strawberries! They have been waiting for me.

There’s also a few other things going off in the green house that are exciting. These are some little fig plants:

Some melons

Some tomatoes just coming into flower

And have been potting up a few herbs I bought back with me.

There’s lots going on in the garden, I find it really meditative to sit by the pond, when you sit still you realise how much activity happens in there. It’s like its own little microcosm within the bigger one. I saw some beautiful blue dragon flies, little fish and this water boatman who floats on the water to seemingly sunbathe. I was surprised by how loud it was it was a whole hub of activity.

Oh man those strawberries look sweet and delicious! My mom used to grow a couple rows of them each summer in the back yard growing up in up-state New York. She would make the most incredible homemade strawberry ice-cream with them. Great post as usual! keep'em coming....
