Tub soil: The soil must be fertile, light and loose for plant growth and vegetable production. When the water dries, care should be taken so that the soil in the tub does not burst. If you want to keep the soil in the tub loose, you have to mix equal amount of loamy soil and organic manure.

The amount of organic fertilizer should be increased in clay soils. Generally, four teaspoons of TSP fertilizer and 118 grams of mustard oil soaked 5 to 6 days ago can be mixed in each tub of soil.

From the middle of Bhadra month to the middle of Agrahayan, i.e. from September to November, seedlings should be prepared from seeds and planted in tubs.

Seedlings germinate in 3 to 4 days if seeds are sown in tubs. When 4 to 5 leaves of the plant sprout, it has to be put in the tub. Lettuce does not require very large tubs.
