When the tree is attacked by worms at the beginning of growth and the intensity of the attack is high, the tree becomes dull and short.
The leaves are yellowish green to yellow in color. In many cases the leaves fall off suddenly.
The most noticeable feature of this disease is that when the tree is picked up, numerous small and big knots can be seen in the roots.
Usually the size of the cells in the affected area increases very fast and knots are formed.
The ability of a tree to hold flowers is alarmingly diminished, and as a result, it cannot be caught.
