I did a little harvesting in my container garden just outside my office doors.
These are Buena Malta peppers that I got a couple years ago from Baker Creek Seed Co.
This is what I got after a couple minuets in the HOT HOT Heat yesterday.
Not bad for a minute or two of harvesting.
The peppers start out the nice purple color then begin to take on a pale red tinge, then finally change to the nice deep red you can see on the right hand side of the photo.
I have five more of these plants in my big garden at home along with another 40 pepper plants of various kinds. I will soon be swimming in peppers ;)
I can't wait for my peppers to start appearing. Am a bit behind you due to the terrible weather here
