There are many ailments that can be treated by eating dandelions in the Spring.
For example, for diseases of the Spleen – eat between 4 to 6 raw, freshly-picked dandelion every day, washing them carefully beforehand and chewing them very thoroughly.
Here are other ailments that she mentioned in the book:
- tired and listless – 2-week treatment – eat 10 stems daily
- gout (dandelion’s blood-purifying properties – remedy for gout)
- itching, rashes and skin eruptions
- rheumatism (eat 10 every day)
- gall bladder (diseases of) – eat 5-6 daily
- gallstones (dissolves them) – eat 5-6 daily
- jaundice (blood-purifying properties – useful treatment)
- liver (diseases of) – eat 5-6 daily
- liver (inflammation and infection of) – eat 5-6 daily
10 metabolism – eat 10 daily.
