We learned the secret behind one of the projects. I am not a bit surprised, because I mentioned for the first time 2 years ago that the remake of W1 is a clean and reliable CDPRed card. The game is old and badly aged (there is no tragedy, if someone persists, the game can be a bit of fun, however, you can see the passage of time), it has a lot of fans all over the world + this franchise is underused. From what I've heard from several different people around the world, Part 2 had fans, but Part 3 was the big opening. I don't know how much truth there is, but even if the truth lies somewhere in between, it is still a huge space to develop. People want more of this world and good, large single-player games that they can sit in for months or even years as long as the studio releases DLC from time to time. By the way, so many of these games are created that in a few years I will probably be juggling different titles starting with the word "Witcher" xD on my PS5 or PC. The game is created on the UE5 engine.

And when it comes to less important information, some of the show's creators ridiculed books and games. I will say yes, sure, Sapkowski is not a master of writing, if anything, I would classify him as one of the whole ocean of "good artisans, but not good enough to deserve much more praise". The game, on the other hand, is noticeably better than the books (I don't know about the 1st or 2nd part of the game, but I could bet PLN 100 that their writers did something much better than Netflix's bastards). It's funny when the makers of season 2 are bold enough to say anything about the quality of better products. Especially when they had the opportunity to show their skills, which totally failed. You had excellent source material for your leftist audience. You had a title that was perfectly suited to your budget and unrestricted streaming possibilities. I know it wouldn't change anything, but with all my complaints about HBO, people were right - Even HBO would have made this show much better and more faithful to the original. Maybe we'll find out someday, though the lemmings will probably still see this fodder.

Poznaliśmy tajemnicę kryjącą się za jednym z projektów. Nie jestem ani trochę zaskoczony, bo już chyba 2 lata temu wspomniałem po raz pierwszy, że remake W1 to czysta i pewna karta dla CDPRed. Gra jest już stara i źle się zestarzała (tragedii nie ma, jeśli ktoś się uprze, to gra może sprawić trochę radości, tym niemniej, widać po niej upływ czasu), ma mnóstwo fanów na CAŁYM świecie + ta franczyza jest mało wyeksploatowana. Z tego co słyszałem od kilku różnych osób na świecie, to 2 część miała swoich fanów, ale to dopiero część 3 była wielkim otwarciem. Nie wiem, ile w tym prawdy, ale nawet jeśli prawda leży gdzieś pomiędzy, to nadal jest to olbrzymia przestrzeń do zagospodarowania. Ludzie chcą więcej tego świata oraz dobrych, dużych gier single-player, w których będą mogli siedzieć miesiąciami, a nawet latami byleby co jakiś czas studio wydało DLC. Swoją drogą, tyle tych gier powstaje, że pewnie za parę lat będę żonglował na swoim PS5 lub PC różnymi tytułami zaczynającymi się od słowa "Witcher" xD. Gra powstaje na silniku UE5.

A jeśli chodzi o mniej istotną informację, część twórców serialu wyśmiewało książki i gry. Powiem tak, jasne, Sapkowski nie jest mistrzem pisania, jeśli już, to zaklasyfikowałbym go jako jednego z całego oceanu "dobrych rzemieślników, ale nie dość dobrych, by zasłużyć na dużo większe pochwały". Gra z kolei, jest zauważalnie lepsze od książek (nie wiem jak 1 lub 2 część gry, ale mógłbym się założyć o 100 PLN, że ich scenarzyści zrobili coś znacznie lepszego niż partacze Netflixa). To śmieszne, gdy twórcy barachła, jakim jest 2 sezon, mają czelność cokolwiek mówić na temat jakości lepszych produktów. Zwłaszcza, gdy mieli okazję do pokazania swoich umiejętności, co się totalnie nie udało. Mieliście doskonały materiał źródłowy na potrzeby swoich lewicowych odbiorców. Mieliście tytuł, który idealnie nadaje się pod Wasz budżet i nieskrępowane możliwości streamingu. Wiem, że to nic by nie zmieniło, ale przy wszystkich moich zarzutach do HBO, to ludzie mieli rację - Nawet HBO by zrobiło ten serial znacznie lepiej i wierniej względem oryginału. Może kiedyś się przekonamy, choć pewnie lemingi nadal będą oglądać tę paszę.
