Damro Bedroom Suits | Our Observations

This will be the last episode of our furniture window shopping. This time we were especially looking for a bedroom set with all furniture. Our target items were a bed, wardrobe, dressing table, and bedside cupboard. Harith's specific requirement was 'We should buy everything in black'.

This time we directly went to Damro instead of any wood furniture shop.

But why Damro?

It is a kind of tricky question to answer. Normally wood furniture even Teak gives lower cost than Damro furniture. Teak bed prices range from 50K - 70 K, three door wardrobe ranges from 170K - 200K mirror tables ranges from 40K - 60K.

If we take terms of prices Damro wardrobes are less expensive than Teak, and even 4 door wardrobe can be purchased for 145K. Bed prices are comparatively higher than Teak. The rest of the items remain almost the same. The price-wise, Teak furniture is the ideal option but for payments wise, we found Damro has much flexibility.

On other hand, it is useless to paint Teak furniture in black as it completely removes 'the Teak' beauty.

Damro furniture is not made of natural wood, made of compacted wood powder-based material which has less impact from insects but some in fact from water.

On the other hand, their finishing is very smooth and the whole furniture has the same quality at every inch. It is not a secret that Damro furniture can use for ages with no color change no physical change.

They are available in many colors of course. More than that Damro has flexible payment options as well as known for its best service. Even a damage of a part can be replaced with the module (as they said).

With all information we wanted to have a look into bed room sets available in Damro.

First of all we checked their website to pick some suits that fit to our budget and willingness. Each showroom has a separate floor of display units of suits. At least 5 suits you can find there in a showroom. We already visited Panadura branch last time and clearly we knew the look and feel of furniture. If you don't trust online photos, Damro is not like that, the real suit is 100% similar to photo and even better than that.

You can touch them and even lay down there before purchasing to make sure you are purchasing right product.

Customer support was also very good and they supported a lot to give details, dimensions and discount details.

These days there is a 15% for some display units that to clear the stock. Also they have 5% off for some selected credit cards.

We are still analysis the best option but anyway this visit also added lots of knowledge for us.
