You are right, Jihad has been misunderstood and misinformed to the people. I was taught that my jihad is with myself when i was a kid.
What does this mean?
It means that every human first has jihad with himself. For example when someone wants to commit a crime, it can be any crime. Then stopping ourself from doing that crime is also jihad.
To walk on the good path, the struggle we do to stand with the truth is jihad.
Current situation between Izrael and gaza, it is actually injustice to say one is right and the other is wrong. One must see the history and see how the war has continued throughout and how West has done nothing in the name of bringing peace among these groups.
Be it anyside innocent people and small kids were killed. How can someone justify this in the name of religion or humanity?
