Decent show, full of good ideas, and worked hard to overcome budget constraints, but there's aN obvious downhill progression in the scripts.
Would be interesting to see someone bring it back.

This short essay by FRANK Bacon gives you a detailed description of how to build the 'perfect palace'. With exact measurements and suggestions on how to decorate your palace, he paints a picture you could easily follow, were you inclined to draw and measure along. Sug
gestions on columns, pillars and fountains distract from his outline of how large a room should be, the height of the ceilings and so on.
It gives a good insight into the early modern (Renaissance) conceptions of architecture in England. Ironically, Bacon does urge you not to attempt to imitate the buildings of the Vatican, for those are neither suitable for winter nor summer.

For the up-hill-[pro]gression of the script is with the communication with the people by the people.
