It is quite funny that Americans are half in the opinion of closed borders and open borders which is quite sad to realize that it is happening due to the politician's way of running the country.

There should be a way to combat this situation but it will just be met by an equal and opposing force yet again. In the other hand, professional people who wants to get into the US to earn a living and at the same time support the manpower in many sectors are faced with difficulties in legally entering the country.
