An honest person won't open their mouth on matters they know nothing about, so what are you talking about? They may be naive but if they're honest they will recognize they are in a precarious position and won't pursue forward.
most people don't know enough to understand how comprehensive their own knowledge is on any particular subject
So? An honest person will weigh everything by what they know, and knowing they don't know comes directly from what they do know. Are you suggesting an honest person can't honestly assess what is new from what is known?
are you suggesting that children cannot be HONEST ?
