Wild garlic foraging time

in foraging •  2 years ago

It’s wild garlic season and I found an absolutely bumper crop of them in a first in okehampton. Made a delicious salad with them and the flowers which, have an even more spicy potent taste. I’m also planning to make some pesto with the remaining ones. To make pesto it’s just olive oil, walnuts, pine nuts, sunflower seeds, almonds and as many garlic leaves as possible.

Wild garlic is delicious. As long as you always always forage away from any nearby paths that people walk their dogs 🙂
