I was mooching around in the garden and found an elderflower bush down in the no man’s area, inspired by @petrapurple I decided to have a go at making some cordial. I made a few variations to her version from reading a few raw vegan posts. I took around ten stems and soaked and washed them, then added the juice or slices from 4 lemons, 5 dates and some filtered water: you leave it for 24-48 hours to start to ferment a little then drink.

I've been looking for an elderberry for my garden for a while, discovered two down the road and just the other day I discovered there IS one in my garden already!! It was there all the time behind the rock mountain. Only problem is it has grown too big and I can't reach the blooms. Need to get in behind and do some serious pruning but have done my back in. :-(
I had a baby come up on my balcony I bought it home but I can post it you if you want. I’m 90 percent sure it’s an elderberry they blow onto my balcony and grow well lol have a few maple trees
Like I said, I have one. It's huge, I just never saw it amongst the others. pruning and clearing will have to resume soon.
Thanx for the offer tho xx
If you want a smaller one just let me know jaha otherwise good luck with the pruning I keep saving these trees and need to go plant them all somewhere rly have several maple tree saplings now I don’t have the heart to throw them
Guerilla plant them. Anywhere you can. GO!
It’ll take a few years tho I bet to get big enough 🤣
Noice!!!!
Enjoy!
In-joy. . .

This looks nice and easy. I'll need to try this out one of these days, I bet it's delicious.
