FIFA World Cup is the most prestigeous tournament in international football universe. Every player has a dream of touching the golden cup of WC football. There are many player who have touched it and many can't. In the list of the player who were not able to touch that cup, there are some big name also. This year Manchester City and Inter Milan were two finalists, where the final was held at Ataturk stadium, Istanbul, Turky. In final City beat Inter by 1-0 goal margin to achieve thier first ever UCL trophy. And they are the 23th club to win this trophy. The only goal was from Rodri, the Spanish international, in this match and obviously he was the player of the match.
Manchester City was clearly favourite in this match according to the brand of football they have played over the season. On the other hand, no one expected all the season that Inter would play the final. However they have managed to do that. And they played well, sometime better than City in the final. They must be appreciated becouse of the effort they gave on the pitch in the final at Istanbul.
City have completed their treble by winning the UCL. Only seven European team have managed to complete the treble so far. City is now one of them. And they are the second English team after Man United to win the treble. They are now on a elite club list.
