The Pantry Had an Extra TURKEY! Bless the Most High!

We are Associated with a Local Pantry

They help families who are having trouble with keeping their personal pantries full, we get calls at the end of each month to pick up resources that they were unable to give out for the month. This is not because we are in need, but because they would otherwise have to throw it all away. We decided to receive these blessings for the appropriate time.

This nation (the United States) is so blessed with food (for now) that they have to give out the surplus of food each month! Don't let anyone convince you that children are starving, if they are, they are being too picky about their food!

We are diligent to be a good steward of this blessing, not to hoard it ourselves or treat it with disrespect, but to act as a "grainery" of sorts for those around us who are in need.

Being Good Stewards

One way we preserve the incredible blessing is to preserve perishable foods. For example, we were blessed with a full sized turkey that was partially thawed (amazing blessing!!!). It needed to be processed immediately.

My wife cooked it up for dinner. It fed our family of 7 and we gave several servings to my parents for dinner. Then Lauren preserved the bones to make bone broth. Making the most of this incredible gift.

We cooked 6 gallons of broth down to a concentrate, then canned it for long-term storage.

BLESS THE MOST HIGH!

We pray that this food can be used at the right time for the right people, God's will be done. For now we are doing our best to be good stewards of this blessing, not just for our own benefit, but for the benefit of others.

We want to bless others as we have been blessed, but above all we want to BLESS THE MOST HIGH!

Teach Your Children Liberty from Sin

We encourage parents to teach their children principles of Godliness, beginning with the Word and an understanding who God is and what His Son has done to form a relationship with us.

No one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, his workmanship will be evident, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will prove the quality of each man’s work. 1 Corinthians 3:11-13

Teach Your children Liberty from Tyranny

Second to this is the principle of self-determination and freedom, lest we loose the ability to teach our children the first principle in future generations. Our children read the Tuttle Twin books, specifically to learn libertarian principles, which most people learn later in life. These books are useful for our family, and yours, to teach children concepts that seem complicated, but are made simple in these books.
