Eating food with a spicy taste is already entrenched. Hundreds or even thousands of types of chili sauce in Indonesia, from shrimp paste chili sauce to soy sauce chili sauce. But a person's ability to taste spicy is not the same.

Then, what should you do if you have crossed the spiciness tolerance threshold?

Many people neutralize the spicy taste by drinking water. Even though this method actually makes the hot and spicy taste spread to all parts of the mouth. But actually there is a separate way to reduce or quickly overcome the spicy taste in the mouth.

Generally, the spicy sensation makes the body secrete fluids from the eyes, nose and skin. Mouth and tongue are burning.

I see a friend of mine, but when it's spicy he drinks warm water. Actually it's not to get rid of the spicy taste, but to divert our minds from the spicy taste to the hot feeling that appears. As with heat, sweet and sour foods are also able to divert the mind from the spicy taste. However, this method only has a momentary effect. So how do you effectively deal with the hot sensation?

In Java, there is local wisdom, if you eat spicy, take tempeh or eat crackers. But scientifically speaking, the abscess of the spicy substance that is in the chilies can dissolve if it encounters oil.

So, if we are hot, eat tempeh or fried from anything, the spiciness will dissolve. However, this method will not be effective in people who have very sensitive digestion, so the best way is to reduce the spiciness of your food or not at all spicy food.

Hopefully useful, thanks for reading.
