This food has many fans in Iran. Most of the holidays, when all the children of the grandmother's house gather, cook and eat.
It is a food that sticks more when there are many people.
The name of this food is Kofte.
The materials used are as follows:
1- Minced mutton 300 grams
2- Cocoon of one measure
3- 1 cup rice
4- Half a cup of dried aromatic herbs
5- 1 egg
6- Salt, pepper and turmeric
7- 2 onions
8- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
Preparation method:
Simmer the cobs and rice.
Mix the minced meat, 1 grated onion, half-cooked chickpeas, half-cooked rice, and one egg and dried vegetables and knead for about 10 minutes until it becomes sticky.
In another pot, slice an onion and fry it and add tomato paste. After frying a little, pour three glasses of water into the pot and let it boil.
We prepare the meatballs until the water boils.
We take the material the size of an orange and make it into a round ball in our hands. We can open the middle and put ingredients such as barberry, walnuts, boiled eggs, plums, raisins, etc. Essential materials are optional.
I used barberry and raisins.
After the water boils, we throw the prepared pellets into the water, wait until it reaches the boiling point, then reduce the heat under the pot. Put the pot in the pan and wait for our meatballs to be ready on low heat.
From time to time we open the container and pour food water on the meatballs.
After an hour our delicious food is ready.
