What is this, FaceBook? Of course not, thankfully! But I'm still going to show you what I ate for lunch. And dinner.
These potatoes are huge, and really fresh. One of them was enough for the whole family. Boiled, steamed, mashed, fried, baked. A lot of meals in that box.
Are we Irish? Actually, yeah, we've got a fair bit of Irish lineage. But potatoes are just plain tasty no matter who you are!
Homemade pizza, really damn good. Didn't bother with toppings this time. Great crust. Lots of garlic in the sauce.
(No, we're not Italian at all.)
Shrimp pad thai. The sauce was peanutty, spicy, and a little bit sweet.
(We're also not Thai.)
For dessert, shortbread cookies!
I actually made these over 4 different days. Not sure why I said they were from lunch and dinner. Who cooks and eats that much food in one afternoon? I could go back and change it, but then I'd have to remove this paragraph too, and I'm just not in the mood. In fact, I'm gonna ramble on a bit more right here. Alright, that's enough for now.

Hmmm pizza with no toppings, pad thai that's vermicelli, 2 demerits. Buuut those are some sweet looking cookies and BIG potatoes..would look funny if you put it in your pants front or back.

I sometimes like the vermicelli but pad thai is my favourite. We gotta learn to make our own sauce one of these days. Maybe once the weather gets better and we get out and about more often to buy strange ingredients haha.
...Soy sauce, fish sauce, and oyster sauce + garlic, ginger, chilli, lime (or lemon) - and you have 70 % of base ingredients in what's needed for 'most' thai dishes, tbh.
....not incl. red/yellow curries or tom yam soups, (or kapow dishes - thai basil. 'regular basil' just doesn't work at all).
...you could have at least said 'full disclaimer : it's probably not Pad Thai' ...some people...lol
Sometimes I put it with vermicelli instead of flat noodles, but it's still rice so the taste is the same : P
