I would like to continue to write about recipes of the food we eat with my wife.
The first post created about that was this one : Lentil meatballs with mashed potatoes !.
In this post, I would like to write about Georgian Kharcho :
In fact, Kharcho is a kind of soup. It should contain meat in it. Usually they make it with beef. In Russia many people consider it as a traditional dish. But my wife instead of meat uses textured soya pieces.
Here is what my wife wrote about that :
Based on the traditional Georgian sauce Tkemali and walnuts - a very interesting and unusual taste turned out. The pieces that you see on this plate are soy pieces (more specifically, soy schnitzel), which in this particular dish are very suspiciously similar to cow flesh! Seriously, if I had not cooked this dish with my own hands, then I would very much doubt it.
Usually in these recipes, I swap white rice for brown, or half brown and white, for healthier reasons, and it works great.
