Hi Friends,
I have always enjoyed McDonalds food. Of course, the stigma is that it isn’t healthy for you but they have been doing a better job over the last 10 years of making their food a little healthier and providing more nutritious, though certainly it should be enjoyed in moderation.
I do now own any of their stock at the moment (directly that is) but have traded in and out in the past. They have done a decent job of building shareholder value and also have a good yield. Here is the 10 year chart:
I usually jump on board for the McRib releases, but other than that, I don’t get too excited about new offerings. That is until they decided to enter thelegitimate crispy chicken sandwich battle. My favorite right now is Popeye’s spicy chicken sandwich, but with McDonalds recently entering the game, I decided to give them a try.
The sandwich was about $5 and was a good size. The flavor was nice and the spicy dressing was good. The bun was a fancy but a bit dense for my liking - it threw the texture when chewing. I liked it overall but It was not as good as Popeyes though - I give it an 8 out of 10.
I will be ordering it again :)
Thanks for coming by,
Brian
