Makanan Ringan Getuk - Javaness Traditional Snack (Gethuk)

Getuk atau yang dalam bahasa Jawa disebut gethuk merupakan salah satu makanan ringan khas Indonesia yang terbuat dari bahan utama singkong.

Getuk or what is called gethuk in Javanese is one of the typical Indonesian snacks made from the main ingredient of cassava.

Getuk merupakan makanan yang sangat mudah ditemukan di daerah Jawa Timur dan Jawa Tengah, terutama di pasar-pasar tradisional. Namun sekarang Getuk juga mudah ditemukan di pasar-pasar tradisional hampir diseluruh Indonesia.

Getuk is a food (snack) that is very easy to find in East and Central Java, especially in traditional markets. But now Getuk is also easy to find in traditional markets in almost all of Indonesia.

Cara mebuat Getuk sangat mudah yaitu getuk diawali dengan mengupas singkong, kemudian merebusnya. Setelah matang singkong ditumbuk atau dihaluskan dengan cara digiling, setelah halus kemudian dibentuk sesuai selera. Getuk biasanya disajikan dengan ditaburi parutan kelapa dan disiram dengan larutan gula aren/jawa.

How to make Getuk is very easy, namely getuk begins with peeling cassava, then boiling it. After cooking, the cassava is pounded or mashed by grinding, after it is smooth, it is then shaped according to taste. Getuk is usually served sprinkled with grated coconut and doused with palm sugar/Javanese sugar.
