After the crazy weather we had a week or two ago, I did not think I can get any nice flower photos this season, I mean in April. We had snow, even ice on these delicate flowers, so you never know how affected these flowers can get, till some time passes. Luckily, the snow melted in the evening, but still. These flowers don't need snow and snow should not happen when these flowers are already open.
A few days ago I was going somewhere and on my way to my destination, I spotted these trees, full of these wonderful flowers. I couldn't be happier as that meant these trees still have a chance for a normal season.
Pink is definitely not my color, I would run as far away from it as possible, but when it comes to flowers, I have no objections. Pink flowers are lovely.
Some damage can be seen on the petals here, but I'm not sure it's because of the snow or cold weather. Nothing is perfect in life, so maybe mother nature wanted them this way.

I love these flowers, would be nice to have a huge bouquet of them on my desk, but these are not the type of flowers to be picked for a bouquet. That would mean vandalizing the tree, which we don't want, do we?
Moving on, next is my African violet's tiny bud. The truth is, my African violets took quite a huge hit this year. I'm not sure what's the problem with them, but I've never seen them performing so poorly. In five years, I've never seen anything like this. These are not old plants, but something is not right. My effort to figure out what's wrong have taken me nowhere, so the best thing to do is to let nature take its course. If they survive, good. If not, then I'm going to renew my arsenal, replace them with new ones. All I have now has been grown by me and propagated. At some point I had so many, that had to sell them. If mother nature decides I need to renew my collection, I know how to hunt for new ones, for free 😏
So imagine my surprise when I saw this little cutie growing this bud. I'm not sure what color it'll be, but I'll be happy to have any color.
Then on my way home, I spotted this wild apple tree blooming.
It's already a habit of mine, to take photos of this lovely blossom, every year. The only time I missed it was during the covid lockdown, when due to the restrictions in place, I could not go visit this beauty.
So today I took as many photos as I could and now sharing them with you
