Workout targets

As I mentioned in my blog couple of days, how I am gearing up for the trek next month, on a daily basis I keep a note of my work out progress and the time spent on each activity. 45 minutes is dedicated to Yoga, 20 minutes to Pranayama, then I do 25 floors step climbing, and between 30 to 45 minutes of treadmill and 10 minutes of weight. Which makes a total of 2.5 hours of total work out time. On some days I am extremely motivated to do it but there are some days when I do not want to do it and just laze out but I push myself reminding that this is needed for the big goal to be achieved next month.

The steps is the most difficult one. Till 16 I am fine, but after that I have to push myself. The treadmill is the boring part walking on that machine for so long, I kind of feel bored. Nowadays I have downloaded some series and I watch that which makes the time pass faster :-)

This is today's morning work out summary. Right now my focus is not on the speed, it is more on strengthening my leg muscles, so I do a good incline work out. Today I did an incline of 10 for 25 minutes at a speed of 4 and then 10 minutes running at a speed of 6. The final summary was then this.

With every passing day I can feel the difference in my strength level and I am happy that my effort is giving me good results.
