After 5 months, I got an opportunity to get back to my Aerial fitness again. There were no Aerial fitness classes in Muscat so far. Finally last month one of the fitness group started with one. I am so happy I cannot express. I was missing it so much here. Not that I am a pro, I am still learning. 5 months back when I was in India for around 3 months, that time I was attending the classes but after coming here it stopped. It needs special arrangements, it's not possible to do it by self unless you have the arrangements.

Last evening was my first class, I thought I would have lost the touch since 5 months is a long gap, but I was pleasantly surprised that I could do it effortlessly. I needed a push here and there but overall I was going confident. The one thing that is low is my strength, which I need to work upon now. In Aerial fitness, we need to manage our body weight and do a lot of Aerial lifts by ourself, I was feeling that I did not have enough strength to life my body and needed little push from my instructor. She mentioned I was doing good with that long break, and in a couple of sessions I would be able to manage it independently.

I like to keep challenging my physical body all the time and push it to new limits, this is where I realize my capabilities and potential. It is not very easy to always achieve what we desire but when we are focused and determined anything is possible. Challenges will come out way, but we can overcome them if we are willing to commit ourself.

We started with the headstand poses in different variations, and inversions are my favorite, I love that head rush that I get in these poses.

This particular pose I found it challenging to drop my body, I cam down easily but after that I found it challenging to get my hands off, where I needed a little support. The first time my instructor showed me the pose, I refused to do it, I was skeptical, thinking I would fall, but later when she was not around, I thought I should not give up so easily and try it out, I called her and tried and was successful. I felt proud of myself :-)

This is now an easy one for me, I did it multiple times but here again a lot of body strength is needed to lift the body up and twist it on the other side.

This one is fun, an inversion first and then come up, again a lot of hand strength needed.

I have my classes 2 days a week, I so look forward to my next class on Wednesday.
