1. Drink lots of water:
Drinking enough water is essential to staying hydrated. When you are dehydrated, your body doesn't function at its best. You might feel tired, sluggish, and have trouble focusing. To stay hydrated, try to drink minimum 8 glasses of water in a day.
2. Get some sunlight:
The sun gives us Vitamin D, but did you know that it's also good for our bodies? Getting some sunshine boosts our moods and makes us happier. It keeps our bones more strong.
3. Eat More Protein:
Protein is the building block of muscle mass, and if you're looking to build lean muscle, you'll have to eat enough protein to keep your muscles strong. Here the rule to consume 1 gram of the protein per two pound of your body weight. So if you weigh 180 pounds, that means you should aim to eat about 90 grams of protein each day.
4. Get Enough Sleep:
Sleep is critical to maintaining energy levels and improving athletic performance. Getting too little sleep can lead to fatigue, while sleeping too much can cause grogginess the following morning. Always try to get minimum 7-9 hours of sleep.
5. Eat well:
Eating healthy foods like vegetables, fruits, lean meats, whole grains, nuts, seeds, beans, and legumes will help keep us energized throughout the day. On the other hand try to avoid eating the processed foods and and more sugary treats.
6. Exercise Regularly:
Exercise is another great way to increase your stamina. By exercising regularly, you will build stronger muscles that will allow you to work out longer without getting tired. Try to exercise minimum three to four times in a week. Exercising too much can actually lead to overtraining. Over training can cause your body to lose its ability to recover from workouts.
7. Increase Your Calorie Intake:
A good way to increase your stamina is to eat more calories. If you are not eating enough calories, then your body will start to break down its own muscle mass. This can cause fatigue and decrease your energy levels. To help prevent this from happening, try adding some extra calories into your diet. You can do this by increasing your daily calorie intake or by taking in more protein throughout the day.
