I almost forgot that the Blurt split was supposed to be happening and saw it mentioned today by a friend on Uptrennd.
It looks to me that the wallet got copied but not the blog history.

Welcome to Blurt! As with any hard-forks there have been glitches, but they have been steadily working on things. It is not perfect but it is nice to not to deal with all the negativity that went on between steemit and Hive. When Hive forked many of the same negativity went with them.
The only negativity I have seen in Blurt Discord community were some of the whales that were never nice to the masses unless you were sucking up to them. That has diminished. Hoping they stay away from blurt and give this platform a chance.
Good seeing you here. I have not done anything on Uptrend for some time. I had a lot of 1UP that was in a wallet and I have since sold it.
I have delegated a lot of steem power and hive power to my curation projects. I have sold some, and I am selling off the many steem-engine and hive-engine tribal tokens. We shall see how Blurt evolves.
It looks like the wallets were mirrored. So, in theory, the same whales that are so unpleasant on Hive could throw their weight around here as well. Some people just like to be nasty.
I should see what I have on Steemengine and sell it too...
But they cannot flag or down-vote or flag. There was one incidence where someone did get blocked because he was spamming porn. They just cannot cause the same issues as they did on hive and steemit.
I self vote all of mine to make up the fee. It does not seem much. One of the moderators on Blurt Discord Server mentioned it.
I have had 2 large holders of Blurt Power who upvoted my post.
When you post something it cost a fee. When you comment or reply to a post it also costs some liquid Blurt.
On Blurt I do not think that everyone got a mirrored wallet.
I agree, distribution of Blurt is not as same as the amount of Steem on Steem Wallet, whales got lesser amount. I've seen a couple of wallets out of curiosity.

Welcome to Blurt Marianne! I don't think you missed a lot by not being here for the first week — there were an awful lot of bugs and glitches, not to mention a nasty and disruptive spam issue, which seems to have gone away now that pretty much all activity has a "cost" in liquid Blurt associated with it.
It'll be interesting to see how this all turns out!
