I have family in Ohio but never celebrated July 4th with them. The timing of our visit couldn't have been better since there is a new fireworks law being introduced in Ohio on July 3rd - allowing individuals shoot consumer grade fireworks on their properties.
I took my nephew on a little roadtrip to buy some fireworks at Prism Fireworks near Xenia, Ohio and yes I'm working on him to get a pyro fan :). We loved roaming the aisles stacked with all kinds of fireworks but mostly concentrated on Buy 2 Pay 1 deals. And since we have some smaller kids in the family we chose more colorful fireworks with not too loud of explosions.
