Ecency has this interesting stuff they do weekly. It's a Writing Contest where they present writing prompts for folks to checkout and have fun with. I love that sort of creative challenge and in this week's edition of the writing challenge, the question is;

How to make $100 a day.

I'm not gonna lie... $100 is worth a fortune in my local currency. Just to put things into perspective, the amount I earned per month when I was in the Banking sector was way below $100. Remember, that's in a month, not a day. Also, the official minimum wage in Nigeria was $30 per Month until it was said to be 'revised and increased' to $60 per month.

What does that tell you about the value of $100 when placed in the hands of an average Nigerian?

The simple answer is that it's A LOT of money and it's hard to think of anything someone can do in here to consistently earn $100 a day, especially when you want to do something legal and Noble.

You can try these stuff though;

  • Try being a Sports Punter: In case you don't know, that's just a fancy way of telling you to be someone that gambles on sports events, places bets and targets $100 return each day. A lot of people do that to make money in this country, but I have to strongly advise that it's a very bad road to go down.

  • Be a Politician: If I'm not mistaken, being a Politician is one of the highest-paid professions in my country. What Politicians make in a month is higher than what many people earn in a calendar Year. I'm not even making any of that people.

  • Be an Entrepreneur: If you want to explore this route and make anything close to $100 each month, you sure have to get into an industry that's highly paying and you also need to push a very high Capital into your Entrepreneurial venture.

  • Be a High Networth Investor: If you have the resources and manage to do your maths well, you will know the exact amount of HBD (for example) you need to push into Savings to make $3000 a month. That's $100 a month. Easy, right?

Everything I've said so far makes it obvious that it's very hard to make money, especially $100 a day for someone in a country like mine. I'm certainly not making that much but I will be glad to make more than that as often as possible, shortly.

Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop Or Comma.
