Last month I was giving a lecture to our board of directors about moving fast in an inflationary realm. After the meeting we went to the porch for drinks and smokes.
One of our biggest investors called me for a chat about the lecture. She is a senior director from a very large financial firm.
She was smoking heavily during our conversation. After we left the balcony someone sent messages in the global whatsapp group of the company with photos of the mess left in the balcony.
The comments from the workers were raging. They said such a mess left is a total dissgrace.
Once the investor found out about the whatsapp messages she decided to take an early flight back to the US. I don't know if its related but 2 weeks later her firm pulled their investment...
