When you have kids growing around you you need to be watchful , observant and extremely protective around them , there are some trauma children go through, that’s why during the early stage of a child’s life, their thoughts and what they see have to be properly guided and protected.

I shared a story of how a student got missing for close to 48hrs but was later found sitting isolated and quiet in a class, we decided to investigate this situation and get to know the reason a child of eight would decide to stay back in school, instead of going back home to parents to rest.

When she finally met her mom she looked so frightened, her dad didn’t come along with her.
There was something suspicious about that meeting but I choosed to observe.
There was no affection or any sign that this child was missing home, if she had everything she wanted in there , she would have stayed forever.

Before this incident, this child have been so isolated, she really can’t relate with her peers, especially the male folks.
We assumed she was an introvert, but now it’s making a lot of sense to us.

I got back home so worried because there were about to make that child voiceless, report shows that she stays on her own at home.
The man her mom is married to is not her biological father, it was at this point the story began to make so much sense.

By next week, she will resume school and all the teachers have to be observant and give this child special attention, to enable us figure out what’s going wrong with this kid.

Children go through experiences that is seen as psychological trauma, these traumas include sexual abuse, emotional disorder, abandonment and loneliness , physical abuse from siblings or parents, drug addiction and many more .

Childhood trauma can affect children son much, it can cause post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression and voicelessness feeding issues ,educational setbacks and many more. Most kids grow with this trauma which might affect them as adults.
Children are prone to PTSD and it affects them in so many ways, it’s important we prevent situations that give rise to trauma to our kids.
