We celebrate Vesak poya day to celebrate the lord buddha’s birth, enlightenment and death every year in May. We have allocated 2 holidays in Sri Lanka for this purpose.
People make Vesak lanterns to show their gratitude. We also made some and I will show them in this post.
Lots of people do many meritorious activities to gain some good thoughts for their life. I also participated in one of them. It was a free rice dansal.
I did not forget to play badminton today with my good friend. We played badminton for around 1 hour.
After going to my friend home, we made some rotee. Actually, my friend made those and it was really tasty.
We went to a nearby temple to do religious activities with my family members.
